How are my products going to be shipped?

Orders to the USA and other non-EU countries are shipped via International Insured Mail. Kalopedis Jewellery will ship your order right away or within a few days depending on the availability of the item. Items shipped to the USA are usually delivered in 5-8 days.

For orders delivered in the EU they can also be dispatched with Express Shipping and delivery time is usually 1-2 business days.

International Shipping and Handling

All shipping costs are automatically produced on the total price before purchasing so that you may proceed with your order with full awareness of the cost. This covers all shipping expenses but does not cover any import duty costs that might occur. These might arise based on your country of residence and are not charged via our company but through your country's customs. Please note that Kalopedis Jewellery is responsible for shipping your items in time but it is not responsible for any upnormal delivery delays from the postal service or acts of God.

Shipping and Handling for Cyprus

All orders that are placed in Cyprus will be sent by a courier service straight to your Shipping Address. Shipping is Free for orders within Cyprus.

Shop with Confidence, we want you to feel completely comfortable when shopping with us, and we go to great lengths to protect your security and privacy. We use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which creates a secure shopping environment. This Technology authenticates your connection and encrypts sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet.

Why am I not able to login to my membership account?

Once you enter your information in the new members area, an email will be sent to your valid email address. There will be an activation link which you have to click in order to activate your membership. Once you do so you will be able to login with your username and password. Sometimes this automated email goes into your bulk/junk email folder. Therefore check those folders as well and to avoid this from happening add info@kalopedis.com to your address book. If you have filled out a form and have not received the email with the activation link, email us at info@kalopedis.com and let us know.

Can I return items that I have purcased?

YES. Kalopedis Jewellery has a very good reputation for its high quality of jewellery and customer service. Almost never in the past we have experienced a case where an item has been returned to us. However, due to the fact that a return policy needs to be posted on our website for the cases of distance selling, we are providing a simple return policy to our distant customers. Our Refund Policy has as follows:

First of all, by law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This is called a ?Cooling-off Period.?

Also, our company policy says that after you have made a purchase from Kalopedis Worldwide Jewellery Ltd and for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you purchased the item. Those 30 days should be enough for you to receive your order, examine the product(s), notify us for their condition and send the item(s)m back. Please note that we cannot accept returns for custom made items or items that have obvious marks of use.

If you do cancel your order and you remain within the boundaries mentioned in this Refund Policy, you will have your payment returned (charge-back), except from the case of items that you have asked to be customized.

Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us. For your protection, we recommend that you use an insured delivery service. Postage and packing may not be refunded on some returned items.

What is the difference between Jewellery and Jewelry?

Jewellery is the British spelling and Jewelry the American spelling of the word. Because the island of Cyprus used to be a British colony and English taught across Europe are through the British spelling system, we use the British spelling of the word Jewellery on our logo. However, because Kalopedis.com serves both the US market and the International market, in the content of the website we use both spellings for internet search engine optimization reasons. Another example is the difference between colour and colour.
